Well for starts let me give credit where due. Bigfatty"s rig was the start of this project in my head. Not being one who works with leather I would not even attempt to make a sheath so I just admired his work. Then Jroden5446 had to show off his awesome Rainwalker rig and then the jealously was setting in. Then thetret showed off his cool rig from Rowe leather and I knew I had to do something. So here it is. My rig consists of a kydex sheath from Mashed Cat with a large tek lock(already had). I purchased a nylon latigo(cinch strap) 1 3/4" x 72" from the ranch supply store $12 and used a piece of scrap leather I had(bought a grocery sack full of scraps at the last gun show for $5). I added a maxpedition pouch that i also had $8. I then used a letter stamp set I had to make a crude border pattern. So for about $21(not counting sheath) and a few hours work I made a gettho rig that I can also use with any holster with a tek lock. Thanks to those who inspired me.
 
looks great! I like the nylon strap. I may use one on a future sheath, just for the option and not worrying about the leather getting wet. My last big sheath with my old FBMLE was a great mashed cat, and the tech lock fits my rig as well. I need to make a run to my local ranch store. The leather saddle shop just went out of business.

I think, in materials, on my rig, I am about 20$. Most of that went to the Saddle strap, because it it was on clearance at the store for 13 if I remember correctly.

Now, I need to make a sheath for my KzII. I might make another for r that sheath.

that looks awesome. good job! I'm planning to try to make a sheath for my cabs when it comes.
