Not a knife I ever paid attention to but this months Candy Corn Budgie brings up a question in my mind.
How many variations of the 417 Budgie are there? Anyone collect them to know?
If I didn't have 3 cats I'd get me some real Budgies.

I thought they dropped them from the catalogue. Earlier this year, it seemed like several places were selling them at closeout prices. I should have snapped up the black G10 when I had a chance. It's the only one I don't have.

They are on sale at chicago knives works, the cheapest place I found. Edit: Never mind, they only have the natural one now, $52.

Wow, H Happy Hippo thanks for looking! I also just saw the natural one at Chicago Knife Works. I should have checked there earlier. Alas and alack!

If I were into large fixed blades, I'd be all over that deal on the GCK. From threads I've seen here, I thought those were long gone.

I never even knew these were a thing. Skimming this I have to assume they were fairly limited production. I would have loved to try some Bos heat treated D2 to see what it was like.

They are at copper and clad for $65.
Thanks!

D2 shows up every now and then in a sprint run, like a Buck of the Month or a Web Special. It's also an option on the website with some of the fixed blades in the 100 series. Those would be easier to get your hands on.
