This bad boy is made from 1/4" thick D2. It has a 7" convex grind blade similar to my hunting knife style blades but looking alot like a bolo style blade. Handle is 5" with buff horn scales. Thanks for looking.

You always do good blade shapes. I do like that you still go with natural handles for your larger blades.
What's the balance like?
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mitch. It's slightly blade heavy as per requested by the customer. He wants this piece as a dual purpose knife, for camp chores such as wood splitting and chopping and as a large hunting knife for big game. The wide area near the point is for choking up on the blade for skinning.

Very nice. I really like your convex blades.
Thanks Keith and Chett. Keith I've really put alot of time into the convex grind. I feel it is the best for a hard use outdoor blade.
