I'm looking for a Buffalo 112. The scales are made of Buffalo horn and has a Buffalo inlay. The blade is a Flint Chip style. I purchased the Kalinga for my Dads 75th birthday in 2007, After Dad passed I got it back. The other day I came across a 110 manufactured with the same characteristics and purchased it, the gentleman informed me that there was also a 112. I'm looking for the 112 and any other's in the set, the date code's are probably 2006. I want to create a family heirloom in the name of my Dad to pass down to future generations, any help would be greatly appreciated. Post here if you have any information or PM me. I started this in the "Bucks For Sale" thread but read somewhere you couldn't do this type of post there, so I came here. Please advise me if I'm in the wrong? I'm not trying too break any rules just new to the forum and trying to do something for my Dad. So someday when I save up the money to do all this, the info will give me a good reference point.

A request for direct help is done in one of the knife sales forums. Please read the FAQ rules at the top of the page and/or scan the link at the bottom of my post.

You can say I am going to find someday a asteroid bladed Buck with baobob scales. And let the chips fall where they may. You just can't say here "I want to buy" without adding something like this "someday when I save up the money."

This is a designated manufactors discussion forum. This little word dance is just the way we have to play the game.

TAH seems to have handled things, enough said on this thread.

Sass,

You may not know that there is way more of the Buffalo knives than the 3 you have listed above! Do a search on this forum and you will be surprised at all the offerings (100 series).

I am missing the Kalinga and the 102 I believe.

Nice Knives!!!! You have a real nice collection. I'm looking for just the Buffalo ones. Your right though I had no Idea there were that many different knife patterns. That's kind of why I started this, in order to get people like you to share your knowledge and with that I can make sound decisions, (help spell check), and reach my goal more quickly. You brought to me more information than you probably realize and I do appreciate any and all I can get. If you don't mind the 3 in the center of the last picture, what are the pattern names or numbers, just getting started I reconize the design but not the name or number

So far there is a Kalinga, 110, 112, 103, 121, 118, 102 and from what I'm reading is all 100 series except the 105? I noticed some had a bone inlay and some had sterling silver? Does anyone know when they swtched and what model?? Since the Kalinga I got my Dad had a bone inlay maybe stick with that? I don't know the silver sure looks nice though.

If I contacted Buck would they know? Or would I get a hold of Joe Houser?

From top to bottom I believe they are as follows. 124, 119, 121, 103, 118, and 116. On the right is the larger 110 and the smaller 112. Missing are the kalinga and the 102.

Thank You!! I made a note on my list of models. I think I'm going to have to ask the boss for an increase in my allowence, it looks like this is going to take some time but that's o.k., it'll be worth while and appreciated alot more.
