I just finished this up today. I made the damascus billet with 1084, 15n20, and L-6, it is 108 layers. The folder is a frame lock with 440C as the locking side with a satin finish. I also just tooled up a small lathe this week so I turned the back spacers and thumb bob.
The specs are:
3 inch 108 layer damascus drop point blade
7.5 inches overall length
Stainless bolster and buffalo horn scale

jason....i like the looks of that folder...it's good to see someone making nice folders out of carbon steel that are custom....ryan:thumbup:
 
That is excellent work. It makes a nice lovely blend of modern design and traditional materials.
 
I tend to prefer frame locks that have solid titanium handles, but the way this one is done has me liking it very much.
