Recently joined because I'm looking for some information on a knife set I acquired. The set is a Schrade-Walden 127 and 166. They have matching serial numbers, BB043TR. They each have a leather sheath and came in a green box marked limited edition. The gentleman I acquired them from states they are special sets made for W.F Cody museum and the ones marked with TR in the serial number were given to the museum trustees in 1968-69. Can anyone offer any additional information or validate the information I was given? Also, how scarce are the sets? Any information is much appreciated.

In post #3 member Codger refers to the "TR" suffix on the serial number, stating that such knives were given to trustees of the museum. Codgers word is good enough for me.
