A follow up to the Frank-n-Busse thread...

My sister and her husband came over for dinner last night and we made - wait for it - BUFFALO WINGS!!!!!!! OMG!!!:eek::eek:

So good. Oh my. Soooo good.

I cooked a few kilos of wings and made the sauce one part Franks, one part butter, about 40 pounds of xtra hot cayenne pepper and garlic powder.

Anyway, my sis and her hubby fell in love with them, so we all decided to get a photo of us all holding our dinner cutlery...

Easy one mate. 2.2 pounds in a kilogram.
Thanks for the local input, Rob !
Looks like a great night. :D

Nice. Looks like great fun.

Glad to see you are getting some use out of the Franks!

Rob when you get the whole village hooked on wings let me know. I will hook you up with a container load of wings and redbeAR15 can help us with the container and logistics.:D

Although you get points for not mocking him, I think your sarcasm meter is broken. Mark was just giving Rob grief about the SI units. I still don't understand how you guys slipped out from under pounds, miles, etc. Oz wasn't a French penal colony....

Whats that green thing on the table!?! Looks like a good time was had by all (With a MOAB involved how could it *not* be a good time) :D

I think you are right - over my head it went !

I don't know why we changed in 1966 - my parent's generation still use Imperial. I grew up with both. It is easier to say "6 inches" than "150 millimetres". The horse races are still in yards, rods, chains and furlongs, though.

Ah, Magoo, you've done it again ! :o

Now that looks like a great meal! How could anyone not fall in love with buffalo wings?

I bet they even came out better than those at Jock & Jill's!

Now you'll have to look into making boneless wings. Chunks of breast meat, breaded and deep fried, then tossed in the sauce. Make 'em bite sized so that Karen can stick them with her Culti and you can go at 'em whole Hog with the MOAB! :D No bones, no mess, NO WORRIES!!!! :)

Are you deep frying the wings ... then adding the sauce ?

Just coating them in oil, cayenne pepper, garlic salt and baking them until crispy. Then adding the sauce.

My mouth is watering as I type. Must... make.... more...
