I have seen a couple of ads for buffalo rolls. They are advertised to be "great for Hidden Tangs". These appear to be fairly solid through and through. I was wondering if anyone had experience with these. I am curious as to if they have layers that would come apart if turned or sanded to any great depth. If they show their layers then I can see their use as spacer material but questionable for an entire hidden tang. What do you all think?
