Buffalo SBK mystery knife

I came across a knife at a flea market and picked it up because the sheath was decent quality and it will fit another blade I have. The blade on the knife has a Buffalo and SBK under it. Anyone got any ideas. The sheath was nice enough that it made me think maybe the knife isn’t garbage.

Standing Buffalo Knives made by Stan Stokesbary of Mankato, MN out of old buzz saw blades?

If that is what you acquired for yourself there, then that's a nice little find, from a virtually unknown and obscure maker from a previous generation, as he's listed as being in his 80's now.
 
The knowledge on this site never ceases to amaze. Standing Buffalo Knives it is. A quick google search and I had the phone number and had a nice long chat with Stan. Thanks for the help tracking it down.
I’d love to attach a pic but I’ve never been able to figure out how.

Upload your photo to any free picture hosting site. Many folks use Imgur.
Use the 5th icon from the right at the top of the posting box to put in the url to your photo.
It's really easy.
