....and a Becker Eskabar I put the new zytel orange scales on.

The walnut slabs were cut a little oversized, pinned and epoxied, and sanded down flush with the exposed tang, which was also sanded to smooth out where the blank was stamped out.The edges were radiused using coarse sandpaper and then I used some finer grit paper to smooth it out. I don't think I am gonna put anything on the walnut,it is some of the leftover stock Ethan Becker used on his first knives back in the early 80's so it should be thouroghly aged and not prone to crack.

The zytel scales make the BK 14 feel a lot different than it did with the paracord wrapped handle. They fit perfectly and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to make the skeleton handle on the BK 14 a little more hand filling.
