buffing an older knife

I have two pretty old Benchmade knives. I'd like them spruced up, but I am not sure from talking to their customer service if they actually do that sort of work. Old scratch marks on blade need to be buffed out, the knives taken apart and cleaned.
If they don't do that sort of work, and I'm not looking for warranty to cover it, is there someone else that can work on these?

Depending on what the two models you have are, (as to blade replacements...) BKC usually doesn't refinish blades. Blades can be replaced, for a fee, if they have originals in stock. They will, on request, give them a thorough cleaning and sharpening (plain edge and not serrations...) to factory specs. There are others on the Forum here, that also do good work, but for true replacement parts the source up in Oregon is the way to go.
