Buffing And Polishing Wood

There are books written on wood finishing. Basically, it is :
Sand to a very smooth finish.
Fill wood pores ,if necessary,with sanding sealer.
Polish hard and oily woods as they are.Polish other (or all) woods with a hard wax like carnuba,Brixwax, or Turtle Shell wax.
Buff briskly.Either by hand with a soft cloth,or with a buffer and a clean unstitched muslin or cotton buff.
