I just finished building a new buffing machine. The converted lawn edger will be retired. While I was grinding on the motor mount, I realized I had better cover the buff to keep grit out of it. Then I realized I don't cover them while running my grinders. Wouldn't it be a good Idea to keep them covered until you are ready to use them?

I keep my compound bars in ziplock bags too, but it's a pain to take the wheels off all the time. I use Bob E's hint and put shower caps over them when I'm not using them. The elastic holds them on and it's much easier.

Thanks Guys, I wonder how long it will be before my wife finds her shower caps?
