What diameter buffing wheel should I get for my Grizzly grinder?

The sanding belt speed is 3600 rpm and the motor is 1750 rpm. So I guess the buffing wheel will be turning at 1750.

Also, according to the data sheet, buffing wheel capacity is 10" diameter Max capacity.

I would suggest using whatever diameter your grinding wheel is. You want the largest diameter useable, but not larger than your grinder. If you grind with an 8" wheel and polish with a 10" buff, you will tend to wash out your grind lines a little. The key to polishing wheels is to not use them very much. Do most of your work on the grinder with fine belts. Polishing should take only about 5 minutes. This is all just an opinion of course.

Thanks for the tips, guys. The wheel on my grinder is 8" so I ordered some 8" buffing wheels.
