OK - I was alittle skepticle of this idea of paying $30-75 for a "pry bar" that I could carry on my key chain or a little alrger one that I could throw into my BOB bag...UNTIL I went ahead and ordered one from Peter last week.

Oh my goodness...these things are built like a stinking TANK! I ordered the "small" BOB on Saturday and it was delivered to me this afternoon via USPS. At 4.5" long and 1" wide - this thing is perfectly sized for my hand to do some serious prying. The fit and finish (yes - even on a piece of steel that is used for prying - fit and finish can be measured) is outstanding. This pry bar is not just a stamped piece of black metal, the balance and the grinds and symmetry are quite impressive. This is the first (of probably many) pieces that I have ordered form Peter and I am very impressed.
I am one for detail and like it when people are very aware of them and take pride in making the details POP. Like wearing a new suit and tie with unpolished shoes...or washing and waxing the car and forgetting to do the windows or sharpening a nice knife and forgetting to rub the extra oil off the blade and out of the action...those things are important to me. They are OBVIOUSLY of high importance to Peter as well. The cord wrap job is unlike any other I have ever seen. Even little things like the ends of the loop piece of cord are even on the ends - not one very ling and the other really short - like I know that we have seen before. What does this tell us about the piece - probably not nearly as much as it tells us about the creator. Major kudos to Peter and his designs, his eye for detail and his overall mastery of metal. Thanks Peter and PLEASE change your username, your website and your email so I cannot contact you, see your designs or buy anything else from you!
