ok so to do a pic all you have to do is Google photobucket. Open an account (its free), and upload your pictures. When you click on a picture you have uploaded, or you hover over a pic with your mouse while looking in an album, you will see several small text boxes. If you click on the one labeled IMG Code it will automatically copy the link you need. you then paste the link you just copied into your post.
for example. these are the three knives Mark has made me.
adding a couple extra spaces so you can see what it should look like when you paste it into your post:
http: //i357.photobucket .com/albums/oo19/Cep13459/2011-06-21113457.jpg [ / IMG]
the other way to do it is to click the icon above where you are typing your text. This will bring up a box that asks you to enter the URL to where the picture you want to post is. For example I went on Knivesshipfree.com and clicked on the first knife I saw. I right click the picture and look at it properties. In the properties it shows its location which is a URL.
[url]http://www.knivesshipfree.com/images/scagellg10/R_Hunter_600.jpg[/url]
so I copy the URL and paste it into the box that asks for the image I am trying to post.
the result:
[IMG]http://www.knivesshipfree.com/images/scagellg10/R_Hunter_600.jpg
If you click on the picture and it opens a larger picture in its own browser all you have to do is copy the URL at the top pf the page and paste it into the box.
be aware that when you copy these URLs they typically have Http:// in front of them. The picture icon you click to input a picture opens the text box which already has Http:// typed into it. If you enter it twice the pic won't work. I don't know if that makes sense, but if you look at the beginning of The URL in your post you should not see
Http://Http://.
