Added a $6.00 3D printed backspacer off Etsy. It really stiffens the scales on a Bugout and weighs nothing. I was pleasantly surprised. They had full length backspacers as well. I bought the partial length jimped ones. They had smooth, jimped and the ones with the larger blocks.
For anyone who cares, the blue color did not match the knife scale color.
You have to leave the standoffs in place. Any idea where to get inexpensive standoffs? Benchmade would send me a Thumbstud for replacement but would not sell or replace the standoff because it was considered proprietary. It seemed odd. I want to keep the blue ones for my Rogue cf mini bugout.
