Buhl 5 1/2 axe

I have acquired this axe and can find very little info on it. It is unlike any I have seen before so it had to follow me home. The cutting edge is 6 1/2 inches long and the head is 11 inches tall and marked 5 1/2 on the top side. The stamp is "Buhl" and is about 3/4 inch long and double underlined. Can someone maybe direct me in the right direction?

Sounds like Masting Axe

It looks very close to the #10 but not exact. The top is flat and the Buhl stamp is about 2 1/2 inches up from the cutting edge. Thanks for the reply!!!!
