I was in the local antique shop today and found a Buhl & Sons Canadian pattern broadaxe from Detroit. It is in nice shape with a handle and it must have been on display somewhere since the handle is painted red and the axe is painted black. The handle could be original, but the red paint is really ugly. He's asking $29.00. Does this sound like a good price? I am not familiar with Buhl axes as this is the first one I've ever seen.
thank you
Jim

If it's a Canadian pattern it's just gotta be great ;-))) I'd buy it.
