Evening all!

I was in class today and, during a break, I decided to dream up a pocketknife for myself. Does anyone else dream up pocket knife designs? Playing with blade configurations and frames? This is my sketch in progress, I mostly do it for fun; I can't really request a custom to be made as I am heading overseas for a bit.

It turned into a jack with a spear and a tiny sheepsfoot into what is becoming a modified scout pattern it seems. I really like awls/punches, they are so useful!

Am I the only one that plays with random ideas and sketches out patterns for fun?

All best

I dream all the time. Been playing around with a free cad program I picked up. Problem is I can't figure out how to animate the pivots.

Everyday I think of old patterns with different blade configurations.... I get the most enjoyment when sparks fly though.

I think the sheepsfoot and the little bird and trout in the first fixed blade shot are my next projects. Well, I have a couple camp knives to make first, then those. But before the camp knives I have a slipjoint to finish up. :)

I'm like Nathan though. Drawing is fun, but even more so is letting the steel guide you and getting lost in the grinding. :D
