Hi guys,

I am thinking about a timbuk2 backpack because it is less tactical looking.

I have maxp. products, How do you they comapre for qualuity and durability?

I have a Timbuk2 bag that I've used for over four years. Build quality is top of the line. I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Timbuk2 gear will be around when last thing walking the earth is cockroaches, bacteria and prions. Not saying maxped is no good, they are VERY GOOD , if not exceptionally tough products. Its just that Timbuck2 stuff is tough like roach!

Having both, I prefer the max, but the timbuk is no slouch either. They're both very durable. Maxpedition is a lot more "survival" oriented though, but for a daily carry bag, timbuk2 is nice.

A co-worker of mine has a Timbuk2 that she has used for years as a laptop bag - it was a hemp version - and it looks essentially brand new.

I would agree with the previous posters. Timbukt2s are good bags.

I really like the Max bags because they have so many pockets. No other company that I have found has as many pockets.

Ive had the same Timbuk2 for about 4 years now, it still looks brand new and like others here i would not hesitate to but from them again either. I have been looking at the maxped bags too it is good to hear that they are similar in quality.

Timbuk2 is great. You wont find a better built bag...........Maybe a bag just as well built, but not better. Ive owned timbuk2 for years, and LOVE them.
