Build time? Just ordered a brand new RMD CG

Wondering what actual wait time is?
Does anyone on the inside know?

I know I ordered mine 25 days and 8 hours ago :p still no sign if her solid also like to know
 
I ordered mine May 6th & just got charged for it on June 21st...

And received it just a few minutes ago...July 1st...

On the RMD cg the average build time seems to be 3-5 weeks, This is pretty accurate. Lately I ordered an RMD CG and had it in my hands in 22 days. A custom SE RMD took about 9 weeks and I ordered a custom rodent 4 and have been waiting a little over 2 months now.

There is a lot of factors that effect the build time, Blade has just passed and the swamp is trying to catch back up, The wait is worth it!
 
You said something interesting, you can order blades not offered on their website?
 
Yes you can send them an email and ask if there custom shop can make what you want. For example the custom FFG RMD can still be ordered threw the custom shop. So can different handle materials such as G10.
 
What does FFG Mean? I know Busse models well but bussekin a little bit less thank you
 
I was pleasantly surprised how much time mine took to complete. I ordered mine on the 27th of May and I got an email on the 19th of June saying its finished. Apparently it takes a while to ship once the payment is received which is a bit irritating. "Up to ten days" they said. It shouldnt take more than two to three business days to put it in a box. -_- They could make this process a lot faster if they wanted too IMO.
 
5-8 weeks is normal in my experience. Don't know about the specific models. It depends on what they have going on. Shows, military orders, what have you.

If I am not mistaken, when they take payment from you the knife is not actually finished. After you pay, they then complete your order and ship it.
 
I paypal when they say to me that the knife is ready to ship, and it ships between 7/14 days
