I have had some requests for blanks for some of my knives. This means no handles or sheaths, the customer finishes them as they see fit. I`m still not sure how they will be marked, something besides my usual K. These can be ordered now, and will start shipping after January 1st.

Here are the prices, including shipping, for some of my more popular models:

Pocketmuk $106
Toby`s Knife $116
Potawatomi Necker $116
EO1 EDC $86
EO1 Hunter $86
Bluegill $96
Compact Tool $126
Personal Camp Knife $136
Kephart $136

Aesome! a must buy IMO, if you like JK's and haven't tried it your not taking advantage of one of the best bits

here's one MykeM fooled with that I had the privilage to hold for a while

or design your own and go nuts :)

I knew this wouldn't be the best choice for my wallet...
Hopefully my bad timing can yield some Great looking pieces.

Once I get some funds, that aren't already dedicated to you, I will get a blank or two... I guess that means they will be dedicated to you regardless...

Have you ever considered a friction folder blank? I have looked at mods to the Svord Peasant and some guys do amazing work with the blade.

What would this include, just a blade and liners drilled for stop pin location?
No washers, pins, or scales?

It is a neat idea and I would be down for one, but I don't know how many people would want to go through with assembling their own friction folder (mind you I turned my Becker BK11 into a FF).

It isn't that it is difficult, but something that has moving parts can be a bit overwhelming to many people as a first time out. Especially when it requires a $100+ purchase.

Here's another endorsement of the value on these. If you ever wanted to try your own work, this is the best of both worlds...a great JK ground knife, with your own personal touch added.

Here's one I did, the LRK+, in micarta

KyEnglish left this one out if his picks! Wonderful blade by John and wonderful handle work by Peter..Squirrel knife.DSCF6100.jpgDSCF6101.jpgsquirrel blade.jpg

If anyone needs any advice or help on materials or method this is a great place to ask questions and I've taken a bunch of pictures working on just this kinda project, it's the ebst place to try it if you ever want to.
