My co-workers keep giving me a hard time about the $$$ I spend on knives, and say all my knives look the same.

This kinda got me thinking. I know there's no perfect knife for everything, but if I could design my perfect knife, I think I know what it might be:

Start with a Mayo medium TnT (3.25" blade) frame. I'm guessing the large fram would be too large. Keep the pocket clip for sure.

Add a a Talonite blade (420V or VG10 or similar OK), shaped similar to my Boguszewski cobra, but scaled down to 3.25". Keep the flipper, but add the normal TnT opening hole (no thumbstuds please). Maybe make it a tad pointier. Spearpoint recurve? Is there such a thing?

I was going to say throw in speed-safe, but I like the idea of being able to open it slowly with the hole, or quickly with the flipper, depending on who's around.

Wow. I think I'd have my one "do-it-all" EDC folder.

Mike
