Building a Belt Sander.

Hi

I am looking for a belt sander for armouring purposes. I am interested in making some knives eventually but the main use will be finishing pieces of medieval armour and some sculpture projects. I would buy a Grizly to start but they dont sell them in Canada (Québec). So I am looking into making one for myself. Would you have some ressources to recommend, mainly for plans.

Thanks T-Blade, I saw the Beaumont site but could not figure out where the plans were.

Sylvester, I did a search here and I found lots of great advaices. I was just wondering if there were more ressources, plan wise as I did not find much.

You mite go to Pal Talk a guy that goes by plain ol Bill
hangs out there some times. He bought a set of plans
from some one for $50 i think . The room opens up between 6 an 7 pm
