My collection went from these two pictures to just the Small Sebenza and the Mini Bugout. I'll try to keep this short, so I'll just say what I disliked about the knives I got rid of.
1. Para 3: Thin scales, especially on the lock side, highly reflective blade scared people ๐Ÿ’€*I'll get a 15v sprint run if I get the chance
2. Mini Adamas: mine had bad action and blade play, so I went for the fixed version.
3. Small Inkosi: too small, couldn't get a comfortable grip. Would be better if it was the same size as the Small Sebenza.
4. Mini Osborne: liked the ergos more on the Mini Bugout. As a small edc the Bugout made more sense, and I couldn't afford to have both at the time.
I'm now on the verge of buying a Demko ad20.5 while they're on sale. Either that or I'll try another Mini Adamas, this time in od green. What do you guys think?

Never had these, and will never do. I have a few knives with the steel name placed on the ricasso, and some more lebeled only whether they are carbon or stainless, but why they did it on the knife anyway? Many good companies did not put this info on the knife itself just a fue deacades ago. I would reconsider some of these knifes of yours if they were made with C70 or C75. Please correct me but then they can be made even sharper and much easily. Obviously to me the edge retention is the least consideration. This helps me not to spend a lot.

All of these knives come pretty sharp from the factory, and when it comes to blade steel, s90v is great in edge retention, cruwear in toughness, and magnacut is a great all around steel. Plus I think each steel suits each knife perfectly, meaning it suits the overall purpose of the knife. Blade shape also plays a big role, it's not always about the steel type ๐Ÿ˜‰ then there's build quality, lock type, action, washers bearings and all that ....

N nikshichu , fully agree with you, I just wish to have some of these beatiful mothern folders, but with lower price. Something like 14C28N or 80CrV2 would be great for me instead of 3V or Cruwear, since I expect the knives will be much less expensive. The edge retention would still be good enough for my needs. Too many knivves, so little opportunities to use them.:(

Hpefully this will clarify my previous post, and it will not sounds like trolling. And, the OP indicates the cost as a consideration in the decission making, so I am not off topic.

I get what you're saying. OP is definitely a consideration, especially when it comes to the price difference between my picks for my next knife. But I'd still call this "affordable knives", as there are many grear knives that are less expensive, and also some that are way more expensive and hard to get.

I really liked my Ad20.5
I sold it but have been on the verge of getting another...at the current sale price, it is extremely hard not to get one.

What killed it for me was how sharp the sharklock was to manipulate. It really hurt my finger everytime. I played and played and played with it but could not get use to it. What I should have done with sand it down. Anyway, keep that in mind. Otherwise it is a great knife.
Really robust. Not the most slicey thing but you've got that covered with your other knives

The quality & cost of a collection depends on your ability to make buying decisions appropriate to your taste & budget.

No one can tell you what you "should" do. Do what feels right to you & just stand by your convictions.

Just buy (and sell) what you like and let the others be damned!!!
