Started building my collection over the last couple of months,
I started with a WH E10, then Small Insingo, WH B30 Damascus, Diskin Hellfire D/A , and lastly the Rockstead Chi. The fixed is a Laconico.

thanks to this fantastic resource of bladeforums and it's membersphoto-1.jpgphoto.jpg

Glad to see you are starting with the cheap stuff.

Nice start.

(yes that was sarcasm)

My first was a $20 Gerber back in the day (when Gerber was good too).

thank you all, I've worked in manufacturing for 20 years, running machine shops, tool shops and production departments etc. So I've been working around design, metalworking etc for awhile. I appreciate quality and design and am willing to pay for it. I also use my stuff and make sure I get my worth out of whatever I purchase. I only cry about quality once and I can't stand cheap quality design and build. I did start with a small Buck Vantage in my quest to find what was good for me.

I'm strait up Jealous of your laconico he's one of my fav makers!

(This is my 1111th post yay!)

When i first start collecting knife, i was collecting fixed and folding knives but after a couple years its cost me too much collecting both and i find out my real passion was for folding knife so i sell all of my fixed blade and cheap folding knife to concentrate my collection on good looking quality folding knife. When i find one i really stress out to be able to get my hand on it.
