If you are in or have a vehicle (and remain with it) you already have many of the basic needs met:
Shelter: The vehicle itself.
Signal: window glass, mirrors, spare tire (ignite the beast) and don't breathe the smoke..., headlights (removed and connected to the battery)
Warmth: burning tire(s), Gas in the tank
Compass: Stay with the car.
I'm guessing you need food and water.
I've done search and rescue ...we always find the vehicle first and then get to scratch our heads and figure out where the blazes to look for the occupants. Where you live/travel someone is very likely to see the smoke from a burning tire.....
