Bulb to LED Change-out?

I really love my Arc LED AAA, and I'm saving my pennies for some model of a Surefire. Until that day comes, is there anyone who makes replacement LED's for the standard bulbs in flashlights?

For example, I took my small Ray-O-Vac Industrial apart this morning, and it appears to be an LED (I'm not sure) which fits into a traditional parabolic reflector. Still, I love that intense blue-white light from the Arc LED AAA.

Any clues? Any problems with a change-out?

Thanks, guys. I pulled up the page, and you're right, lots of reading!

While I was waiting for a response, I went to Radio Shack (just about the only place for parts in my small town), and they had nothing at all.

Even if I had the right answer, I'd have to send away for the needed parts. Don't get me wrong, the Arc LED AAA and the little Ray-O-Vac are serving me fine. And even if I had the Surefire, I'd want to swap out the bulb for a bright white-blue LED.

Let's face it, like all of my other hobbies, I have the 'wants.'

If you like that bluish white tint, then you'll absolutely flip over the new KL-1 Luxeon based LED head for the SureFire E series of lights. I have two of them on my E2e lights and they literally blast away any other LED product that I own.
