Bulk Epoxy?

Does anybody out there supply epoxy in, like, a gallon or more, with a pump on it, like you see for hand cleaner at garages?

I'm tired of dinking around with the little tubes, and I go through the syringes of it in a flash. So I'm looking for a larger, neater size/method of dispensation. Anybody knows, gimme a yell, would'ja?

Thanks!

I have use large bulk containers in the past (up to 55gal drums), not sure where they got the stuff from. You might try a local marine supply. You can also try some aircraft supply centers. We used them in building interiors for Gulfstream GIV SPs.

www.epoxy.com has large quantities, but I think they deal with mostly industrial epoxy for concrete and stuff. You might want to give them a call, however.

I use T-88......mostly found in fiberglass and large woodworking stores....comes in 8 oz 16 oz 32 oz 64 oz etc......two part containers-one resin one hardener.....its really good stuff.....slow cure.

West Systems also sells marine epoxy in larger sizes. Good stuff! (Actually gets hot when you mix it!

thanks harry...I am quite sure that is T-88. All the high end furniture makers I know use it...its really good stuff.

Check with any custom club maker nearby. The guy I buy mine from orders it in 5 gallon lots & breaks it down ....works out less than $30 a quart.
He's made custom clubs for guys on the PGA Tour, and in all the years he's used this epoxy, no one has ever had a club head come off (and he says they swing at better than 130 mph!).

Do you guys know if this stuff is any better than K&G's epoxy? From everything else I've used, the K&G seems to be the strongest, but I haven't used any from Golfsmith.

Thanks,
Nick

Try also www.dynacraftgolf.com for the golf shaft epoxy. They also sell in large containers and it is good stuff and hardens slowly.
I agree with the others in that if it will hold a golf club head on after hundreds or thousands of impacts its got to be a great bond.
