Bull Lock pocket clip

Just picked up a used Tidioute Bull Lock at the OKCA show and noticed you can hang it in a pocket by the lock lever. It's rode that way for three days in my cartharts and has been comfortable and secure. Am I committing traditional blasphemy or has any other Bull Lock owners done this.

I don't know, I predict there will be tears , that small locking bar is so short compared to the big knife, it is bound to fall out some time.

What this gentleman said. Seems like a recipe for disaster. If you'd rather not drop it into your pocket, perhaps a small vertical or horizontal belt sheath.

Or even maybe one of our talented modders could find a spot for a lanyard hole. Dunno.

I have the same thoughts about loosing it. I will be mindful of it and carry on, I am grateful for all your insight.

...though I would add, it is possible that the greater heft of a bone-handled traditional knife will keep it from slipping out.
