Just finished these two Bull Sharks for the Dutch Knife Exhibition this Saterday.

The small one has a blade out of O1 (selectively hardened in an electric kiln, three temper cycles), yellow linnen micarta grip with rubber liners, O1 hardened butt plate which is has been locked by the peened tang. M4 and M6 bolts. All metal parts where given a foliage green Gunkote finish. Coyote Tan Spec-Ops Sheath.

The medium Bull Shark has a blade out of O1 (selectively hardened in an electric kiln, three temper cycles), Green/black linnen micarta grip with rubber liners, O1 hardened butt plate which is has been locked by the peened tang. M4 and M6 bolts. All metal parts where given a foliage green Gunkote finish. ACU Spec-Ops Sheath.

The knives still have to be sharpened. Hope you like them…

I really like the design of these two!! Look like they'd serve in the sandbox quite nicely.

VERY NICE !! Just curious, though, what the spacer is for just in front of the butt cap?

It is there to make sure that the butt cap rests on a piece of micarta with the grain running across. Otherwise the micarta might crack when hammering.
