Some time ago I got the request to make a Bull Shark S, M and an Orbis 6 out of a piece of TNT666. It's a steel made by Achim Wirtz and his friends containing 1% carbon, 0.6% Titanium, Niobium and Tungsten, so that's where the cool name comes from :D Only 60 kilograms have been made of this stuff so it is pretty rare.
The first knife is ready, it's a Bull Shark M (only a bit larger), has the black Cerakote finish and ancient stellar sea cow rib handles (really love this stuff).

ok here are some pics:

A LOT of thought went into this design and build. Sweet. :thumbup:

I'm curious about that butt end. Show us what you did there?

Thank you.

Coop

How do you manage to forge that stuff?!?! :eek:

Thanks everyone,

@Coop
The butt cap is also hardened steel and is peened and glued:

Here is a picture of an old Bull Shark that I ground down on one side, here you can see the handle construction with the rubber inserts:

@Joe:
The forging is harder than O1, needs some more heat for a longer time. So taking care of the grain reduction is important. Grinding this stuff wenn hardened, that's where the headache is coming from....:)

I bet!!! Does that stuff challenge even the magic diamond plates?
