Bull Shark with rubber inlays

This time I made a Bull Shark with a different handle configuration than I normally do. This one has liners made out of rubber in the center, than I constructed two 10 mm pieces of black linnen micarta on the sides. Then I removed a lot of material from the micarta slabs, leaving thick bolsters and about 3 mm of micarta on which I glued the rubber. The guy I made this one for is taking it to Norway for testing. The first version had full rubber sides, but putting the knife in and out of the kydex sheath, made the rubber wear on some places. So the micarta bolsters are the fix for this problem.

Other details:

Steel: 1.2510 (O1)
Coating: Graphite Black Cerakote

That is in the center of the wheel of my wheel house! Great looking blade and something tells me it performs great too.

Like a tank on rubber tracks!
Beauty! Hope to hear how it holds up in Norway

Bull shark is an appropriate name for that knife. It's not to be messed with.

I've just opened this thread and my eyes opened up about 50% more. Outstanding!

I love seeing work that is so innovative. That and the lines/style are really superb.

Hat's off to YOU!
