Bulldog Help Needed

Any of you Bulldog experts, or shield experts for that matter: what is this shield called? I've only seen it on Bulldog knives. Thanks in advance!

No idea, rather strange as it looks like a comprised propeller

That bone looks fantastic though and it's nice to have the shield so near the bolster too

Thanks to all for the input. I don't have the knife, just curious about the shield since it is so rare. I kinda thought it looked like a dog bone!
