Bulldog Knives in Chattanooga?

Does anybody know if Bulldog has a storefront in Chattanooga? I know that's where there headquarters(?) are...

If not are there any good stores in that area - I don't want to have to drive all the way over to the Smoky Mountain knife shop near Gatlinburg...

Hi SD!

As a displaced Chattanoogan livin' in Atlanta I have a little experience here, since I know Jim and Buz Parker.

They really do not have a showroom, but they do have a few knives on display. They really are not formally set up for walk ins. Best bet is to give Buz or Jim a call to see how buzy they are and ask if they would mind if you dropped in.

You will enjoy meeting them face to face. Please tell thim I said hello. Their place is easy to get to from I-75. Keep in mind that there are some days when they might be to frenzied to have visitors. That little place moves a lot of knives .

Thanks Gus, that's what I wanted to know. I'll be up there (from Atlanta) next weekend. But, if they're not set up for that sort of thing I don't think I'll impose.

Can you recommend any stores in the area? I'd like to be able to browse through a nice selection of slipjoints and hand pick one or two...
