Bulldog versus Fightn Rooster

My understanding is that both these makes are manufactured in the Olbertz factory in Solingen. Can anyone tell me if these makes are very similar, in terms of quality? I own a couple Bulldogs, and I like them okay but it's not my favorite brand. Would a Fightn Rooster most likely seem pretty much the same, or are there other qualities to recommend it?

Thanks so much.

I like the overall finish of the Fight'n Roosters. Some of the best finished pearl are on these knives. They also have some very creative blade designs and configurations. Once you get over how pretty they are and just use them they hold up quite well. Great walk and talk. They are high carbon steel and will pit and rust easy but you can put a nice edge on them. Fight'n Rooster knives were very sought after for a long time. There aren't as many made now and aren't advertised like they used to be so a lot of people don't know much about them. Some of my favorite knives are Fight'n Roosters. I'll post some photos of them soon.

You can call Cuz's Antiques (Frank Buster's store) in Tennessee @ (615) 444-8070...and see if they have anything you like in stock. Ask for Glenda, if she's still there.
Or, take a shot on eBay, as there are always some listings. Sterling (Frank's son) used to have an eBay store...but I'm not sure he does anymore.

EDITED:
In my opinion, the Roosters are more consistent in fit and finish.

Being a "pattern" collector (texas toothpicks), I get to compare a lot of knives-- same pattern, different manufacturer. Looking at my fight'n roosters compared to Bulldogs, I gotta go along with mckgreg. He's right about the MOP as well. It's no wonder so many knife clubs through the years have chosen the Roosters for their annual club knife. (but please note, that may not be fair to Bulldog as Frank Buster specializes in short, small runs of knives).
