For what ever reason I keep falling back to this handy knife.. anyone experiencing similar symptoms? Its almost like it is the bullie in my knife box.. Tried to use my peanut, texas jack, sodbuster and even a GEC #15 and I keep picking my victorinox silver pioneer (I took off the keychain though).

I'm a huge Soldier fan. Luckily, I have more than one pocket!

I carried the Victorinox Electrician for the past couple of weeks while traveling. It served its purposes well and is a fine tool. i can appreciate how it and similar knives could be a favorite. However, now that I'm back home I'm glad to switch back to my bone-handled Case or GEC traditionals. I think it's just a matter of personal taste.

When the Pioneer is not there, some other scout pattern usually is.

Maybe GEC could make a 3 bladed model with plastic handles that would be affordable. They better stencil the bottle opener from a Pioneer!

As much as I love my other traditionals, my Pioneer offers many more options in a package of similar size/weight. It's tough to ignore the sheer utility of it. Thank goodness my little Vic Rambler has a couple extra tools on it that supplements my other traditionals or else my Pioneer would be a total bully/pocket hog too! ;)
