I have a tan handled 18" machete with a silver-black-silver bullseye lanyard tube. I just got a 12" one with tan handles and the bullseye has a silver-tan-silver bullseye lanyard tube.

Have the bullseye pins changed recently or does it vary? In all honesty the tan-on-tan is my favorite and this presents a problem, since the 12"er is going to a friend as a present.

Well it has to do with the U.N. charter and the production of military armaments. Article 96 section 3429.763-az1.69 defines any blade over 1.52" as a weapon, section 3429.765-az1.70 defines any weapon used by a military force or colored as to be easily concealed as a military armaments. Article 54 sections 4659.766-bp4.12 and section 6899.141-ac3.79 of the charter covers manufacture of military armaments by non government entities or their proxies (ie bowing, colt, Raytheon....) and limits the quantity to equal to that used for the purpose of sales samples and r and d so by andy changing his bullseye tube color, He avoids going over that limit on a specific pattern and there by avoids falling under the jurisdiction of the Hage as an illegal/ non authorized producer of military armaments because he/ we could be extradited to Europe for trial.

Pain killers helping you make sense, huh?

Ok, you just opened a whole can of worms here Dan. Can you send me the link to the UN Charter you're talking about? I'm very interested in reading it for reasons unrelated to my original question...

I try to stick to the bullseye tube matching the liner, and pins. On the machete both of these factors are irrelevant. I find that both color bullseye tubes match the nat can OK without those other elements.

I could, but I am not authorized. You will have to contact the office of public information and request a "nongovernmental release of information request". Once you fill the form out ( and remember to return 4 copies) mail it back certified mail by the us post ( they will not receive official documents from ups or FedEx ). After it has been approved they will send you hard copy, do not scan it in digital though because that also violates the disseminating of unverified information and propaganda act
