Bumping threads

How do you bump a sales thread? I tried to do it to one of mine, but it stayed buried several pages back.
 
That was changed some time ago. Posts don't bump anymore, so new threads won't get buried too quickly. The new rule is that you can repost after two weeks. It's in section 2 of the Exchange rules.
 
Click Edit. Make change. Click Save Changes.
Sorry to over-simplify, but you don't say why you're having difficulty.

If you're having difficulty finding the Edit button, look at the lower left of your post... there are 3 stacked bars/lines - click that

I'm going to piggyback on this topic, if I may. I did that, but my post stayed on page 2, how can I get it bumped to the top so that folks see it?
Or is that not possible?

When you say repost, do you mean create a new thread?

Bumping has been disabled in the exchange forums due to abuse.
The threads in the exchange forums are sorted by start date.
