Just want to share my latest Gossman: A Brown Utility Neck Knife

This one is in S35VN and the micarta handle fits my hand like a glove. For the sheath I asked Scott to put together a dangler and his solution is elegant and functional.

The knife of course is shaving sharp and it cuts like a bastard. I will put it through its paces but I am sure it will excel at everything I will throw at it.

In case anyone is sitting on the fence about getting one:
Go ahead and order one - you won't regret it!

Thanks Scott for crafting this knife so well and so quickly.

Ohhhh very nice! The UNK's are a very utilitarian and universal knife. Great sheath BTW!!!!!!!

Let me know how you like that steel. It is an awesome edge holder, is easy to sharpen and cuts like crazy. The UNK is my favorite design in a small knife.
Enjoy!
Scott

Kahuana came up with a great design, and Scott made a great knife. Really liking mine. Can't wait to see what it does this summer on the boat.

Glad to hear you're happy with the knife, Protodoc. Scott's work is amazing. It should become your favorite go to knife.

Not a true test of the knife, but I did get some clean cuts taking small limbs off of downed cherry trees over the weekend. Also, got some good curls on possible walking sticks. I think this design would make a great chopper.

that's a cool looking knife and sheath... congrats.. i have always liked those U.N.K.'s..:)

Hey Scott....Is it pronounced U.N.K. or one word ala Uncle without the le? I wonder that when folks ask me about mine....

JW,
We call it the (letters only) U-N-K for Utility Neck Knife. Scott has recently adopted the word GUNK (like engine sludge) for Gossman Utility Neck Knife. We have been having some fun with that one.
"Got GUNK?"

That's been all in fun. The name is UNK. We've been having some fun with additional letters at the beginning.
