It was a downright tropical 38F outside today. Time to throw some blunts on the target arrows and go look for hares.
Snow was pretty deep if we got off the trail, but the xc skiers left us a nice, packed track to walk.

Listening to something large moving through the forest:
Saw lots of tracks criss-crossing the snow, but alas, the hares were well hidden today:
Maiden voyage of the new Bison Gear "outfitter" pack. Conclusion? Love it.
While no bunnies were harmed in the making of this thread, it was a fine February afternoon hike. I love getting out this time of year, if only for the stories you find written in the snow.
