I picked up a Bura 16.5" 29 ounce Chiruwa with finger grooves from Unnca Bill on 7/15. Here is the thread URL since I can't post pics.

This has become my favorite K. The finger grooves make all the difference in the world on how the knife handles. Also, it seems that the 16.5" size fits nicely between my 15" and 18" AK. Not too light and not too heavy. Bura did a great job on the knife - the finish, sharpness, and of course that great handle are excellent.
I've been carrying the Chiruwa everywhere at the farm and have used it quite a bit for limbing, brush work, and about everything in between. Even used it to help dress some small game. I'll grant you that squirrel paws aren't much of a challege but it was fun anyway. With bow season around the corner, I'll try it on the first deer I get.
If any of you get the opportunity to try a K with finger grooves, I think you will like it as much I do. If you already have a K with finger grooves, I'm interested in hearing your impressions to see if you feel the same.
