If you are wondering why the kamis keep sending me 20 inch Sirupatis when I have plenty of this model and am out of others -- well, I am wondering, too!
But anyway, here is a 20 inch Sirupati made by Bura. It is 20 inches overall and weighs 1 pound 10 oz. I am a little disappointed in the fit. It is only about 99% perfect and that is substandard for Bura. But, he has a magic stone mirror finish on the blade and it is hardened up to about 60 Rc and will take some of the few remaining hairs off my arm. Excellent HI habaki style bolster and black horn has very nice gray steak.
Karda and chakma are very good, up to Bura standards.
Scabbard is very well made and nicely tooled by the sarki with no name. Frog is 100 year HI superfrog.
