This one picked me. Similar to BAS, I might have thought. At first.

See the pix. Sorry my camera's so-so! But first, check out the bolster. Non-habaki nickle silver. :footinmou Same mat. for the buttplate and scabbard fitting. No brass a'tall...

Karda a little larger than most- fits my hand better. Can actually use.

Lines of this khuk- classic. What a khukuri is supposed to look like IMO.

Sword of Shiva pounded pretty deep. Sarki work- excellent. Perfect fit, tight in the hand.

Hanshee- this is where I have a question. Thought they were generally curvier by name- used by Nepali women to clean up battlefield wounded?

Comparison foto to M-43 just to show size... Just got it- UBBB from early last week.

Yes, Bura's still pounding out nice steel. May have new, motivated helpers! :D Glad I have this one. Of course it's my favorite. Now.

Thoughts on these Bura Hanshees?

Mmm, I wouldn't go that far. It's simillar to BAS but prettier. Not a fighter, just a good, small all-arounder. With Corvette-like lines, me say....

I wasn't planning haiku but Thomas got me going again.

I must have hanshee.
I will beat up Ad Astra.
Where is he at now?

;)

Nice piece, Ad.

Nice 5-7-5 haiku poetic form, Satori.

It really is a nice khukuri. It's very hard to explain... it's just fits so. Not a chopper. Not a fighter. Too big to cut your peanut butter sandwich (that's the why of the karda).

It's special. There have been others on the daily UBBB.

Kamis make more, so no need for fisticuffs. I'll arm wrestle you at the next khuk khonvention for a bilton so I can manage my losses. :D
