Yes, the handle does curve.

There it is. 10/10 effort by the best kami in Nepal. 18 inches and 22 ounces. Good karda and chakma. Usual top notch scabbard by village sarki. The only thing I can find wrong with this rig is the ring on the handle has a couple of very small chips in it. 3 minutes with some sandpaper makes it perfect. But, because of this minor flaw I'll discount this rig $45 and deliver it to your door for an even hundred bucks.

Now if the pix post we are on our way.

Oh well, I've got enough khuks already, right?

"enough??"

uh, sure. That's the ticket.

Start buying house plants instead.I've always thought annuals were a good long-term investment.:)

Good snag mate! I bet a little sanding and Tung Oil would make that Khukuri shine!:D

Are those steel or brass fittings? I'm guessing steel. Either way it is an absolute stunner, no wonder it sold so fast.

The M43's handle can be rounded if you are willing to file the steel tang to the contours you want.

I had to do this with mine as it had an uncurved top and lower strap. The blade had a gorgeous curve, which should have continued through the handle. Since it didn't to start with, I made it do so with a tighter curve on the handles' bottom than the top.

Now it feels right. With it locked into my hand I know by feel where every inch of the blade is.

If you want to know what mine looks like, look at this one's handle.
