My Blades arrived today from the Help Bura sale.

Again they were just what I expected. I chose the 15" AK with horn handle, villager finish, and the 9 1/2" 13oz Kerambit with horn handle.

I could not wait to unpack them, first was the bit, I was amazed how thick the spine was for such a small knife and how well it is made, the lines are so smooth, this is a very cool blade. I cleaned it up some with never dull metal polish, and man did it ever shine.

Next I unpacked the AK and again the overall fit and finish is great for a villager. I also cleaned it up some with the never dull and it looked very nice. The satin finish really came up nicely. Will post some pics when I can.

I am so glad I came to this site, HI makes the best Khuks I have ever seen.

Thank You again Yangdu, for the super fast shipping and the service you provide to us, and wishing Master Bura a speedy recovery.

Added some pics this morning, not the best was rushing a bit.

Good photo's, especially like the one showing the thickness of the K'bit spine.

BTW, both blades have horn, not bone, handles. Good job with the polish, the blades gleam. ;)

You are right sir. I was in a rush to post them and mixed up the handle material. Thank you for checking out the thread.

Thank you for checking out the thread.

Pugs, thanks for your posts. I find it so pleasing to read the reactions, thoughts and observations that often shine a new light or give a better understanding of a HI product as you are doing.

Thanks to you I've decided to look for the right WWII, a Khuk I had overlooked until your recent posts. I am now looking at them in a new light, and as Silverfox has stated elsewhere, Uncle Bill thought of them as the best all-rounder Khuk and I would like to see how they compare to the others I already own.

Im sure you will find the one you want. I really love mine, the lines are so smooth and the satin finish is very nice. I actually will be looking for a polished one in time. I am hooked on HI, and will be a customer for life. and again thank you for your kind words.
