I'm seriously considering ordering a knife from Burger, but would love to see some examples of his work, especially unusual knives with wood scales, etc. So, if you have pics of your Burger knife post them here!
I bought a handmade Exkelibur direct from Trevor. It was a fairly nice knife. The thing for me is I personally enjoy weighing different but similar knives against each other. As far as build quality and all else considered I found that the small Sebenza easily outed that knife so away it went. Not really on topic but I just wanted to add my experience.
Marthinus, thanks for the link! some of those wood scaled knives are beautiful and exactly what I'm looking for.
Archieblue, I have been looking at small Sebenzas and Mnandis, but the weight of the Sebenza is of concern because I am looking for a knife to carry when I'm wearing a suit or business clothes (I have plenty of heavier/less refined knives).
I have four of Trevor's knives (Persian, 2 x EXK1s and an LEXK). Great knives, some people don't like the fact that the lock side scale is thicker but it really doesn't worry me at all. In use you don't notice. I'll try and get photos up later.
