Recommendation? Burke Hitman Stubby - Frag Pattern or Pocket Clip Suggestions

Hi all,

I have a Jim Burke Hitman Stubby (The Monkey Edge exclusive with frag patterned titanium scales) as seen below. I really dig this knife, good weight, fits my hand very well, and the perfect size for EDC for me. However, the patterning on the scales has caused me to basically retire this knife out of my EDC rotation indefinitely and I have also been too stubborn to sell/trade the knife so far.

As you can see in the second picture below, both scales have this frag patterning (even under the pocket clip), so it's pretty difficult to fully seat the knife in my pants pocket due to the pants fabric getting all caught up in the handle pattern grooves and don't even get me started on how impossible it is to actually get it out of my pants pocket (have to lift the pocket clip with my finger and help guide the fabric out from under it every time)!

I don't want to carry it without the pocket clip and don't want to grind down the titanium under the pocket clip either if it can be avoided.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remedy this problem?
