Seen here is another first timer that I've managed to get a few days with. This one was sent to me for a new clip. As you can see the old one met with a bit of an ill fate. Not sure of the story on that exactly but anyway as requested I anodized it blue. Its not quite as perfect a match as I had envisioned but will certainly work. It may subdue down some with age and blend even better in time. Some have done that so time will tell.

This is a nice knife. Certainly worth a look and worthy of high praises. Not really little and not really big its kind of a middle of the road medium sized heavy duty folder from what I can tell. 5 ounces even up with a a 3.125" blade and a a 4 and 7/16" closed length it fills a pocket nicely. Smooth as silk too! Note the really cool spacer in the rear of this one. Nice little pommel type protrusion off the back on it that I picked up on. Looks like the lock cut is left thicker than some. I like that and it appears to have a unique stop pin that is connected to just one side of the blade and rotates in a channel. Interesting design. Seems to work fine and now its back up to snuff with a new slightly thinned down titanium clip the same color as the handle. Thanks for looking.

Looks like a pretty dang good match to me Steve. I've never been crazy about the size and shape of the OE clips on those Rockstars. I like how yours is more streamlined.

Thanks. I thought the shape came out quite well too.

As the person having a vested interest in that fine job I'll just add that one should not attempt a po' boy, bend it yourself, low-rider clip reversal.

Never attempted bending Ti before, won't again.

I really, really didn't like the "Rockstar" logo hanging our & planned on a replacement by you anyway.

I'm tickled by the results of your job & glad that you were as impressed as I was with the Burke. Thanks for the great job & quick turn around. Ruff Cobb

That looks significantly better. IMHO the Rockstar clip detracts from the overall aesthetic of the knife: Big, fat, and ugly.

Very nice work on this one.
